depuis Distance is the story of an immobile and invisible rupture. The voice that expresses itself, having reached "the middle of his life", traces a lacunar cartography of his attachments: affective, carnal, and spiritual.
Anchored in a day of summer life (we can recognize there the vestiges of a mountainous environment), the text feeds on the tension between these attachments, the shadow of losses, and a desire for freedom that implies the irrevocable removal of all that hinders, of all that "holds back".
